
Our Story
Jillian Magee and Matt Jones opened Old Port Fitness together in 2020. Before opening OPF, Jillian and Matt spent 7 years working together as colleagues. As co-workers, they spent many hours working on the training floor together, collaborating over mutual clients, attending educational seminars together, and developing a support system for each other as peers, trainers and friends.
Self described “Fitness Nerds”, Jillian & Matt strive to provide the best coaching, recovery and learning enviroment for the clients of Old Port Fitness.

Owner, LMT and CoachJillian is passionate about helping people feel better. Most people seek out her help for their unresolved acute or chronic pain, as well as pre- and post- rehab for surgery and injuries. On the training floor and on the treatment table, she addresses movement and alignment discrepancies by assessing and addressing biomechanics and soft-tissue health.

Owner, CoachMatt Jones has over 20 years experience in personal training. He graduated from the University of New England with his B.S. in Applied Exercise Science. He is currently the only TPI Level 3 Fitness instructor in the state of Maine. He is also a certified Precision Nutrition Coach. Jillian and Matt are the only level 3 fitness Fascial Stretch Specalists in Maine. Matt also has experiece working with a variety of athletic teams at UCLA and CSULB.

Massage TherapistHaley and Jillian met in massage school; during that time Jillian was pursuing her certifications in neuromuscular body work and spent most of her class time practicing on Haley. After school, they continued to work with each other, sharing skills and knowledge. Haley is an incredible massage therapist, constantly developing and evolving her touch and techniques to ensure that people have lasting results.

What we love about Chaya is her passion for fitness, which makes her a perfect fit for Old Port Fitness. She has a background in strength coaching college athletes, where she had to write and lead athletes through sport specific programing. She enjoys working with beginners and people stuck in their fitness journey; she not only teaches the health benefits of strength training, but how to find fun and joy in training journey.
