Performance Recovery: Body Work & Massage Therapy

At Old Port Fitness, we offer neuromuscular fascial re-education, what we call Body Work, a highly targeted soft-tissue technique focused on restoring health to the fascia and connective tissues.

Unlike a traditional full-body massage, Body Work sessions are precise and specific to what’s causing your pain, discomfort, or dysfunction. The power of this technique lies in its ability to break up scar tissue, mobilize fascia, and improve movement in muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments, and lymphatic flow.

Jillian leads our Body Work sessions, using her advanced knowledge of movement, anatomy, and fascial patterns to restore proper function and help you move without pain.

Typical Body Work sessions last 30 - 45 minutes.

Our in-house massage therapist, Haley, specializes in sports therapy massage, combining the deep tissue benefits of body work with the relaxation of a full-body experience. She is skilled in addressing both chronic and acute injuries, as well as complications from scar tissue and overuse. Each session is designed to relieve pain, restore mobility, and help you move and feel your best.
